An existing client of ours had been hiring equipment for over 2 years at a significantly increased cost compared to ownership.
However, the company they were hiring it from were considering an exit from the marketplace. Therefore, this presented a good opportunity to acquire equipment that was well known to them. We worked closely with a local accountant to help negotiate the purchase price down, this enabled them to secure the equipment at reduced cost compared to purchasing from a used franchised supplier.
The £110K deal completed in November and the client was delighted as they can now improve their overall margin whilst remaining competitive.
